Hunger

Break the Hunger

Words cannot fully express our heartfelt gratitude for the tremendous support we’ve received from each of you. Please accept our warmest thanks! We are profoundly grateful to TSWN, the Australian Hazara Women’s Friendship Network, Community Four, DANA, and WFC.
Through your efforts, 39 vulnerable families in the harsh, snowy winter of Kabul—families from the most disadvantaged segments of the Hazara community, including orphans, people with disabilities, families of martyrs, and those facing extreme poverty—have received essential assistance. These families, struggling daily for even one meal, are among those most severely affected by the brutal cold, high costs of food and accommodation, and widespread unemployment, leaving them in a state of deep despair and need.
Once again, thank you all. Some acts of kindness merit more than words; a special note of gratitude to Melba Marginson for coordinating this remarkable support.

Education (Supporting Classes)

We are proud to support classes in the most deprived and remote areas of the Waras District in Bamyan Province, where there is little to no access to development projects, financial aid, or government support. It is an honor to be part of Women for Change, striving to uplift this overlooked community.
Your enthusiasm and generosity toward our association are deeply appreciated, and the dedication shown by these talented, selfless teachers is truly inspiring. Together, let’s continue to strengthen and expand these vital activities. Join us in this mission to bring lasting support to Waras District—every contribution makes a profound difference!

Women Felting

Women Felting

In addition to providing tuition classes for underprivileged students, we are proudly running a Namad felting project in Waras, Bamyan. This initiative, led by our dedicated coordinator and involving over ten women from disadvantaged backgrounds, is generously funded by the Women for Change Association.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our compassionate donors across Australia. Rest assured, every cent of your contribution is dedicated to creating meaningful, positive changes in the lives of our most vulnerable community members. Thank you for standing with us as we uplift and empower Waras’s resilient women and students!

Women Education

The tuition classes established and funded by Women for Change in Waras District, Bamyan, cater to students in grades 10-12, as well as those preparing for the Kankor exam next year. These classes are designed to provide an opportunity for success and academic growth, despite the challenging circumstances in this remote and underserved region.

We are immensely proud and thrilled to have created such a supportive academic environment for these students, who reside in one of the most deprived areas of Hazarajat. Through these efforts, we aim to open doors for a brighter future and educational advancement in a place that has long been overlooked.

Women Employment

Empowering Women in the Most Deprived Regions of Bamyan
These images capture the resilience and hard work of women in Bamyan’s Waras District, one of the region’s most underserved areas. Through their dedication, these women spin wool to sell in local markets for carpet weaving, a vital source of income that helps sustain their families. This initiative is proudly supported by the Women for Change Association, made possible by the generosity of our donors.
With your continued support, we can create even more opportunities and empower these women to build brighter futures. Together, we can make a lasting impact. Yes, we can!

Women Empowerment

Women for Change Association is proud to provide financial support to several young women who aspire to work and build their futures. We are delighted to see these determined individuals empowered to pursue employment, enhancing their financial independence and accountability. This initiative not only helps them strengthen their economic stability but also fosters a sense of confidence and self-reliance, contributing to the overall empowerment of women in the community.
